Talks
remember this one rumbled on for some time last year on email so good to get thinking early!
for those not involved in the sub group last year - how we do the talks thing is recommend speakers and subjects to the talks sub-group and then they take it from there.
it might be that we will have some people coming to do worship and we can rope them into do a talk as well, but thoughts on subjects and speakers would be good related to worship in some way (can be quite tenuous!)
any thoughts?

It would be good to get Steve Croft who now oversees Fresh Expressions of church development for the Anglican & Methodists Churches to come and speak. He is a good man, and I think a good speaker....
It would be great to get Walter Brueggemann - know anyone who has any contacts?
the book i am reading at the moment is colossians remixed: subverting the empire by brian walsh and sylvia keesmaat. it is amazing - would love to get them to GB. i have e-mailed martin wroe to float the idea already!
