on the grandstand on the second floor, but has no windows facing to the campsite and festival suite and national hunt open into one room.
the downside is that the access to it is up an obsecure set of stairs!

thanks gayle... my problem with those rooms is that
a) i think they are too small?
b) impossible to find
i guess we could overcome b) with good signing. but having looked at them what do you think? is my memory wrong about size?

the rooms are small (lower capacity than foxhunter) and slightly awkward shape, think signage could be overcome but not sure the rooms make it worth it. think i would rather stay in foxhunter?!
think we also should chase up dawn run and gold cup as options - which i will do!

Malcolm says the festival suite would be too small. I don't know about the areas of the other rooms. Do we have measurements?(even rough ones). Also I seem to remember that last year we were promised that we could have some air conditioning units for Foxhunter in return for closing the firedoors. That would improve things a lot I'm sure.
I also wonder (just thinking aloud) whether putting extra (theatre) blackout curtains over the others would help or hinder the situation. If it was sunny they might help insulate the room from the "greenhouse" effect. Downside is they would cut down any air that came from the windows.

Sue.
